Offering flexible configurations, the cage can be used fully assembled or as an L-bracket with an ergonomic wooden grip and an Arca-type quick release baseplate, ensuring unobstructed access to buttons, ports, and the hot shoe in either setup. The cage sports multiple anti-twist 1/4"-20 threads on each side for extensive accessory attachment, with 3/8"-16 threads and a top cold shoe receiver providing additional mounting options.

Built from durable aluminium alloy, the cage weighs just 0.139 kg as an L-bracket and 0.190 kg in total. The bottom plate attaches to the ZR via a 1/4"-20 screw, while the top plate screws into the bottom plate at two places and locks into the ZR at another, creating a safe and secure fit. The front of the baseplate features two M3 threads for Tilta's separately available ARRI PL-mount lens adapter support. Tilta Threaded 15mm Rod (Black, 8", Single)

Tilta's 8" Threaded 15mm Rod is a 8" rod with female threading on both ends. This allows you to use optional threaded rod adapters to extend the length. As a standard practice, Tilta chamfers one end of their rods and leaves the other end with a straight cut. The chamfering makes it easier to slide accessories onto the rod, while the end with the straight cut makes for a smoother rod join.

The rod is made from machined aluminium for a balance between weight and strength, and then anodised black for wear and corrosion resistance. Please note that there is no industry-wide standard for support rod threading, so when sourcing optional rod extenders, it is best to stay within one brand.
